Mares and Saenz nab All State Honors

Junior Pitcher Bobby Mares and Senior Catcher and Pitcher Louie Saenz were both named to the Texas High School All State 5A First Team. Both Bandits play their high school baseball for the Socorro Bulldogs. Saenz is a 2008 graduate and has received multiple baseball scholarship offers. Mares who will begin his senior year in late July also has received numerous offers from both Division I and Junior Colleges. Bobby is a member of our 2002 National Finalists and both played together on our 2003 Texas State Championship squad. They become the Bandits ninth and tenth players to be named to the Texas All State squad. Congratulations to Bobby and the entire Mares Family and Louie and the entire Saenz Family.
