What a Difference a Year Makes

Fall Baseball 2004 League Record 3 Wins 17 Losses
Fall Baseball 2005 League Record 23 Wins 0 Losses
Sandwiched in between is a 2005 Spring Playoff Championship

The Bandits completed 2005 with a record of 66 wins and 17 losses. The players worked hard and committed to doing things the right way starting in February. Our players know that much is expected from them and that all the support they need to succeed will be provided. The foundation of our turnaround has been our pitching and defense. The team enjoyed outstanding pitching and timely defense throughout the entire year. Most importantly, the team has now learned not only how to win but how to handle winning.

Fall Highlights include: A perfect league record of 20-0
Three win sweep through the playoffs and allowing only 1 run in 3 game playoff run
Beating the Blazers seven consecutive times this Fall, including twice in October USSSA tournament, four times in league play and once in Championship game – – this extends our winning streak over the Blazers to 9 including our two wins in the Spring Playoffs (we are now 15-4 against them and have won 15 of the last 17 games between our teams since Fall 2004)
Tying the Carlsbad Junior Varsity 4-4 in November USSSA Tournament
Beating the Indians 14-4 in November USSSA Tournament
