Bandits finished undefeated at 20-0 in League Play entering the playoffs and going undefeated 3-0 in the Playoffs

Sunday November 20 “Championship Sunday”
Championship Game: Bandits 2 Blazers 0
Kyle “Tex” Bumpas throws a complete game shutout with 10 strikeouts. Lance “Dakota” Gruber drives in Bumpas with the game’s first run and “game winner” with a double in the bottom of the fifth inning. Eddie Blair drove in Brian Hebblethwaite with an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Hebblethwaite advanced from first to third on a sacrifice bunt by Eric Stoltz before Blair knocked him in. The game was scoreless through 4 1/2 innings of play. Chris Rubio made a diving catch in center field in the top of the seventh inning. The Blazers placed runners on first and third with two outs before grounding to Josh Avalos at shortstop who got the short out at second base to end the game and secure the Championship. Gruber finished strong with a 3 hit performance driving in the game winning run on a double. The Bandits pounded out 11 hits.

Inconsistent infield defense kept Brian Hebblethwaite from completing his outing. Kyle Bumpas entered the final frame with 1 out and runners on 1st and 2nd base. Bumpas threw 2 strikes in his relief appearance. The second strike was a ground ball to Josh Avalos who fed Hebblethwaite at second who turned a game ending double play. Mike Bolaski drove in all three Bandit runs advancing the Bandits to the Finals on Sunday.
