Bandits Capture 1-5A MVP Honors for Second Consecutive Year
Bandit Kyle Bumpas a Senior at Americas High School shared Most Valuable Player Honors for District 1-5A. Bumpas was a Pitcher and outfielder. This marks the second consecutive year that Bandits have grown up to garner Most Valuable Player honors in District 1-5A following Cory Falvey and Bobby Mares who gained similar honors while playing for the Socorro Bulldogs in 2009. Bumpas has garnered All District Honors for all four years of his varsity career including “Newcomer of the Year” as a freshman pitcher. Kyle has signed a junior college scholarship agreement to continue his baseball journey.
Bandit Brett David a Junior at Coronado High School was named, “Offensive Player of the Year” for District 1-5A. David is a two year All District honoree.
